I love to grill so I am excited to share these 5 grilled sides as a part of this Kenmore Elite Grills sponsored post.
My wife and I love to barbecue. We make Veggie Burgers and Steaks and we cook out when we can. My favorite thing to do is to cook sides on the grill, because most people don’t do this.
I guess that I try to think outside of the box and this is one way to do that. (Plus, I want our kids to be adventurous eaters, so this how I am working on that…)
First, if you don’t have a grill, I suggest getting a Kenmore grill, because they are the best, in my opinion. I love them because since they have larger cooking surfaces and more burners, I can cook my main dish and my side dish at the same time and still get just-right results. (Plus, they offer more power with higher BTU’s, so it works or our larger family of six.) I use a lot of the extra features (these vary by model) like the side steamer… although I really want the refrigerator in the grill! (Father’s Day idea… hint hint. If you buy one now through July 4th, you can get one of their great offers at kenmore.com/grills. You can find out more on their community.)
Here are my 5 favorite side dishes made on the Kenmore Elite Grill:
1). Grilled Pineapple with Cinnamon Honey Drizzle.
This recipe for grilled pineapple with cinnamon honey drizzle looks amazing and it can be done right on your grill. I love how it was taken from Rachel Ray’s Thirty Minute Meals, because we love that show.

2. Grilled Sweet Potatoes
These Grilled sweet potatoes with cherry salsa is definitely something that our family loves. We make our own sweet potato fries, so grilling sweet potatoes is perfect for us! (I would check out this recipe by thefirstmess.com – its my favorite)
3. Bacon Wrapped Onion Rings.
Our son loves to put bacon and onions on his burgers, so when we found this, we knew that we had something for him. He loves this recipe and now requests it every time that we have burgers. (I’m not going to lie- I could eat these plain… and I do.)

4- Grilled Blue Cheese & Bacon Stuffed Onions
This recipe looks amazing. I haven’t tried it yet, but I am planning on making it this week. We just bought the ingredients tonight and I have my Kenmore Elite Grill ready to go for dinner tomorrow!

5-Grilled Asparagus
This classic is called a classic for a reason- it is always great. I love to either make my own seasoning for asparagus or I will even use a simple recipe like this one on SpendwithPennies.com (it’s so good!)
