The days are getting a bit longer and the sun is getting a bit warmer. That’s right! Spring is finally here. It is one of my favorite seasons for sure. I love taking advantage of the warm days and taking advantage of how we are able to do more things outside as a family.
Spring time and family time were always something that went hand-in-hand when I was growing up. I can remember every Spring my Dad, brother, and I would spend the weekends washing my Mom’s car for her. I guess this is where my passion and respect for cars all started. Fast forward 30 years, now I am doing the same thing with my kids. Every Sunday, the boys and I are outside cleaning out the van for Becky.
This is something that I enjoy doing with them, something that I look forward to each week. It also is a way that we spend some more time bonding with each other and catching up over the week. We talk about all kinds of things. Jack likes to talk about his new passion, lacrosse, and how he is looking forward to his summer tournaments. Beau is always telling me about his new inventions that he wants to make and is always thinking of ways to “Soup up” his mom’s van to make it go a little faster. Ethan loves to talk about all his friends he has in kindergarten, how he is looking forward to being big like Jack and Beau one day.
Normally, I am bucket and sponge type of guy, because it usually takes a bit longer and gives us more time to hang out with my boys. To be honest, I am usually the one doing most of the cleaning. They are usually talking to me and having fun playing in the bubbles.
However, there are times that we are not always at home and we can’t rely on our normal car washing methods. We like to go to the beach and up to the mountains when ever we can. Now, we don’t have access to a hose and we usually don’t bring a bucket, sponge, and car wash with us. However, that doesn’t stop us from doing our weekly car washing ritual.
Instead we travel with Armor All Ultra Shine Wash Wipes. These wipes are extra large, pre-moistened wipes that give you amazing results without all the elbow grease like a bucket and sponge. They also allow you to remove soils like dirt, dust, bird droppings, road grime and more and are great for the entire car or quick touch ups.
I even like to use them if the kids have an accident and we need something quick and reliable to get rid of the mess. They are even great on the all weather floor mats.
Armor All has a range of products to clean, shine and protect your vehicle. The Ultra Shine Wash Wipes are one of my, and my kids favorites. You can store them easily, like in your glovebox, and can be used anytime, any where and you just throw it way when you are done.
