Around this time of year, I always start thinking about Football snacks I can make for my friends and family to enjoy during the Super Bowl! This year, I coached Jack in football.
It also means that we watch a lot of football at home. The Steelers & Panthers will be playing soon (we are a divided family… Becky & I were raised in PA, but our kids were born in NC). Nonetheless, we spend a lot of time with family and friends on Sundays and snacks are a must.
Super Bowl parties are a big part of our house, as well as many other households. Even if “your” team is not in the Super bowl, you might even host one and root for the team you hate the least. We are Steeler’s Fans, but the kids know that we’ll watch the game even if the Steelers aren’t in it. While it’s a lot of fun, Super Bowl parties can also get expensive if you don’t plan right. A little food, some libations, a few decorations and a TV, and you’ve got the makings for a great Super Bowl party.
That’s why we usually head to Save-A-Lot to grab the snacks that we need for the party.
They have all of the essentials to throw an epic super bowl party at great every day low prices. It’s how we save time & money when we are prepping for a party. (they even have paper products).
I ran to Save-A-Lot last week to grab some ingredients to make these strombolis.
At Save-A-Lot, they keep the customer’s budget in mind by offering up to 40% lower prices than conventional grocery stores. They have fresh cut meat in-store every day, quality fresh produce, and they have exclusive brands at everyday low prices. They have great food, great people & great prices.
For our super bowl party, I’m making these mini strombolis (the kids love when I make them)
…My favorite are the pepperoni and bacon.

My favorite football snacks are hot wings and 7 layer dip.
