If you give a mouse a muffin… he is going to want some jam to go with it. Today I’m partnering with Life of Dad and Beautyrest for this campaign. Every dad needs more sleep, right?
If you give a dad somewhere to sleep… he is going to want a full night’s sleep (and that’s just not going to happen!)
If you give a dad a place to sleep, he’s going to close his eyes.
When he closes his eyes, he is going to hear the pitter-patter of little feet coming into his room.
When he hears those feet, he is going to pretend to still be asleep so his wife will hear them, too.
When his wife gets up to help the kids, she will make a loud sigh.
When he hears the loud sigh, he will pretend to still be asleep.
When she gets out of bed, he will move over to her side, too.
When she comes back into the room, he will be awoken again.
His Beautyrest Sleeptracker monitor will take note of his wake-up, but he will fall right back to sleep.
When she gets back into the bed, she will fall asleep. When she falls asleep, she will steal the covers.
When she steals the covers, he will wake again and his Beautyrest Sleeptracker monitor will notice.
When he grabs his spare blanket off of the bottom of the bed, he will fall back asleep.
When he falls back to sleep he will hear a little voice calling “Mom? Dad? My bed is wet.”
When he hears these voices, he will have to decide if it is a dream or not.
By the time that he realizes it is really happening, his wife is already in their room.
When he sees the light go on in the other room, he stumbles out of bed, practically falling over.
By the time he gets there, the sheets are changed.
They both go back to bed, fall asleep and the Beautyrest Sleeptracker monitor counts it as REM sleep… for 20 minutes. Because when you give a dad somewhere to sleep, he’s going to want a full night’s rest to go with it.
And we all know that when you are a parent, that won’t happen.
Thanks to Beautyrest Sleeptracker monitor for letting us know that we do need more sleep (and giving our wives proof that maybe we did sleep just a few minutes longer than them! Haha!) And I don’t even have to wear it. Unlike wearables, the Beautyrest Sleeptracker monitor is completely non-invasive and plugs directly into a wall outlet. The sensors go between the mattress and foundation/frame and the processor tucks away underneath the foundation.
