I was a college athlete, so putting on weight was never a problem. I used to that that was one of the perks of playing football. I could each as much as I wanted because I was working out to convert it into muscle.
However, I’m not out playing football anymore. Now I am coaching my kids and teaching them about football. At the start of the summer, I was not happy with the way I felt, and I definelty did not look like a college football player anymore. With the football season starting at the end of the Summer, I decided it was time for a change, it was time to change my life for the better.
I was determined to lose weight and even more determined to get my body back into shape. I had always been used to working out to “bulk up.” However, since I was not playing football anymore, I wanted to focus on “toning up” what I already had.
The biggest and hardest challenge of this transformation was focusing on my diet, or what I was actually putting in my body. I had done a lot of research and with some trial and error I found that focusing on high protein, low carb and sugar diet was the best plan for the transformation I was looking for.
My target weight was 170 pounds, and I wanted to be there in 10 weeks. Honestly, I had not been down at that weight since my Sophomore year in High School. However, in 7 weeks, I had I lost 26 pounds, and made it down to 158 pounds! Now, I know these results are typical, but I was determined. I was very strict on my workout plan and even more strict on my diet.
Since my diet had such a drastic change, it also meant that I needed to give the same attention to the inside of my body. I starting taking natural supplements to help provide energy and balance that I was not getting with my diet. One of the things that I started taking regularly was a probiotic, but not just any one.
I decided to try the new PB8 probiotics. PB8 probiotics have been sold to consumers for more than 25 years! That why I didn’t give a second look on trying their newest PB8 product.
Not only does it support the Immune System (which is really helpful during the winter) but it also helps support Digestive Health* At least 60% of immune cells are in the intestines.**
PB8 provides 10 billion beneficial bacteria in a single, vegetarian capsule. Since there are so many allergies out there that affect so many people, this is one you don’t have to worry about. What’s not in PB8: No Milk, No Gluten, and No soy (statement it right on the bottle)
I took a 3 week challenge to see if it made a difference, and it did for sure. In fact, I have been taking PB8 for the last 6 weeks!
Since I loved the product, I will been giving away 6 bottles of PB8 probiotics to try for yourself. Leave a comment and tell me if you had a similar experience.

I just discovered your blog.
Although I have not used this brand of probiotics, I completely appreciate the benefits of supplementation of good bacteria for better overall health. I read something recently that said even 1 dose of antibiotics (in one’s lifetime) has upset one’s microbiome===and of course we now know that this results in a cascading catastrophe of imbalances and illnesses, minor and major. So, I am trying different probiotics to discover the best and most harmonious blend of gut bacteria. PB8 sounds great and I would love to try this brand.
Thank you! I know I do not like to be on anything at all, only as a last resort:)
Probiotics definitely make a difference! I can especially tell in the kids’ tummies. Would love to try this kind!
SO true! They have done wonders for all our kids for sure.
I love PB8! Just started using it a week & a half ago and can tell a difference. I will never buy any other kind of probiotic but this!
I am a fan as well and have been able to tell a huge difference this season so far 🙂
I am a believer too. My 2 and 5 year old have so many colds. Since taking probiotics I can feel my glands swelling but it never results in anything more. I would love to get my husband on these as he has so many food allergies!
My husband would benefit from taking these. He’s trying to make healthier changes in order to get off acid reducers.
I am a huge fan of them 🙂
I was looking at a chewable brand for my kids – but they are SO expensive! I am trying to justify it – time to try it for me and see what happens…
I know my kids have been taking kids probiotics for years. We usually mix them in with yogurt or pudding (what ever will mask the taste). They usually don’t seem to mind and we can tell a huge difference in them.
After most of my family being on & off sick from Thanksgiving till now, we are ready to try anything to help us!! This sounds like a great product…& if it might help lose some weight too, I’m all for it.
I love probiotics! They work wonders for a bloated tummy!
I recently started taking them and I feel great. Our kids have been taking them for some time now, but I recently started taking them and I feel great.
I hate being sick and Winter has arrived! I definitely am in need of these PB8 capsules to help with winter colds! Thanks for sharing.
A healthy diet is something that you need. I follow the paleo diet and have found it to be really helpful.
