When my wife was teaching, she loved when kids would make her little gifts: notes, letters, cards, drawings, etc. Now that we have four kids in school, she tries to give back by doing little things throughout the year for their teachers. The first day of school, holidays, or Teachers’ Appreciation Week is a great time to show gratitude to our child’s teachers!
One idea to help a teacher feel appreciated since they do so much for our kids is to make them a gift. Today’s gift is coffee-themed: a basket of coffee-themed teacher gifts. We also include common classroom supplies because we know how quickly the supplies in a classroom are lost, broken, or used.
In each basket, we have:
- A bag of Coffee
- A Coffee Mug
- Cookies
- Pencils
- Colored Pencils
- Pencil Sharpener
- Ruler
- Glue
- Crayons
To finish it off, I created these simple gift tags on my computer.I added the little quote of “Cc is for Caffeine” on each tag to give it a little bit of humor.
I am including the PDF so you can use them for your child’s teacher! We had our kids just write their names on the back of the tags.
You could also use a poem or coffee gift tag like this one: If you give a teacher a cookie...
Or you can print the C is for Caffeine gift tags here.

These make for a great Teacher Appreciation Gift that lets your child’s teacher know that you appreciate what they are doing in the lives of every child. Your child will be excited to give it to their teacher, too!
