10 things they need to invent for parents

1- A window that separates drivers from the passengers (like in a limo)… or in this case:  the parents from the noise coming from the back seat.  Put our four in the back, with two friends… and I can promise you that you would want this, too.   Loud singing, laughing and silliness is magnified.

2- An instant washer & dryer – 5 minutes in, 5 minutes out.

3- A Folding Machine.   Becky & I never understood this… you’ve got a washer, a dryer… what about a folder?

4- Car Insta-Clean.   Put it up to the door & push GO and watch everything get sucked into it (all garbage, shoes left in the back seat, wrappers, pencils… everything)

5- Translator for two year olds.   Toddler says: “Ba Ba Do Du Dog me me I Bark op me do ha”   Machine says: “Mom, today I heard the Dog bark and it was so funny!”

6- Toy finder.  “Mom!  I can’t find my ____”    Enter the toy finder.  Enter the description and size and wah-lah.. toy is found!  Presto!  Think “Find my iPhone” but this one is “Find my kid’s toy”

7- Blankey finder.   Same as toy finder, but for the much-loved blankey or lovee.

8- Insta-stool.   A stool that folds up to the size of a phone, but opens to a normal stool.  You can use it at public restrooms for hand-washing, at water fountains (at all of those places, where we hold them up, but they end up getting their shirts wet from leaning on the sink/fountain).

9- The 10 minute store delivery service.   Call.  Order your groceries.  Delivered in 10 minutes flat. I think we would all tip very well for this service.  This would also include an option for a drive-thru express grocery store.  Where you can get milk, eggs, syrup (that was me this morning!) in a flash.  It would be like driving up to get your Diet Coke from McDonalds.

10 – Shoe magnets.  Once off their feet… Snap! They automatically match with their pair and straight in their designated bin.  It would be like a Robot vacuum.  It does its job and goes back to its station when finished.
