(The image above shows our kids watching on of our family movies on our new LG G Stylo phone before we sent it to my parents).
Our kids are at such a fun age! They are starting to really get into movies with us- watching them, picking their favorites and comparing our favorites to theirs. This summer, we made a bucket list of the top 5 movies that we wanted to watch with the kids.
We ended planning one movie a month for our monthly movie night, where we grab a ton of blankets and pillows and all squeeze into mom & dad’s bed to have a movie night slumber party, where we can watch a movie on our bedroom TV. The kids think that this is the best thing ever and they look forward to it every single month. So, since we get a free movie on VUDU every month ($7 value) per line ($49.88) on our Walmart Family Mobile PLUS Plan = Unlimited Talk, Text, & Data which includes up to 10GB of 4G LTE. VUDU works on the TV, so it is perfect for our large family. As parents & bloggers, we needed a lot of data and the plan includes more data at a better value with 10GB of 4G LTE. We use the extra data to keep in touch with our family. My parents live a few states away, so being able to share pictures and videos with them is really important. The extra GB of data allows us to do that, without spending more.
With the free movie a month that we get on VUDU (thanks to this Walmart Family Mobile PLUS plan), we have planned out 5 that we want to see.
1: LEGO MOVIE.
This movie is perfect for a family movie. It is appropriate, funny and has a great message.
(Last year, our son made me stand beside the LEGO man to get this shot!)
2. Honey I Shrunk the Kids.
The kids will have a blast watching this one. When we went to Disney last year, they learned all about the movie without actually seeing it. Our son, Beau, is most excited for this one.
3. Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
This one is for Becky… she has NEVER seen a Star Wars movie (although she kind of understands the story line, thanks to the boys doing the Jedi Training last year).
4. Minions
This is one of those movies that the kids just love. They had watched it at their school for Mother/Son movie night and came home talking about it. I have yet to see it, so this is my pick. We even made Easter Eggs about the minions this year, because the kids liked it so much.
5. FROZEN.
Allie had to pick this one… she has wanted to go back to see Elsa and Anna since the day that she met them.
We’re excited to watch these movies this summer, thanks to the Walmart Family Mobile PLUS Plan = Unlimited Talk, Text, & Data which includes up to 10GB of 4G LTE with the free movie on VUDU every month ($7 value) per line for $49.88. Since Family Mobile bills you later, you only have to pay $19.88 when you sign up. This $19.88 cost to start the plan is the cost of the starter kit. All prices for phones and plans included in this post are accurate as of the date of posting; however, these prices are subject to change. Please refer to http://cbi.as/3edbv or your local Walmart for current pricing. The phone that we bought was $179.00 (rollback from $199.00). It was the LG G Stylo. We picked it because of the laser autofocus, Gesture shot and the 1920 X 1080 video resolution. Becky liked it because it has an expandable memory up to 32GB to store all of our videos and phones plus music & games for the kids. It lasts 437 hours on standby, so it will be better for us (longer-lasting battery).
