I have partnered with Life of Dad and Cub Cadet for this campaign, but my opinions are my own.
I’s more than just a yard. Our backyard has always been a place for the kids to enjoy and have fun. They would dress up in super hero costumes and chase each other around. They would play on our old swingset and pretend it was a fort, protecting them from invaders below.
Our backyard has always been a place not just for our kids to play, but for all the neighbors to come and play. However, the back yard and the toys, especially the swingset and playhouse, were starting to show their age. So Becky and I decided to do a total backyard renovation. To do something that all of us could enjoy. Here are some before pictures.
Now that the boys were older and they now had a little sister (Allie), we had to come up with a backyard plan that everyone was going to love. So we come up with this plan. We added a heavy duty swing set that all of our kids and the neighbors could enjoy.
For Allie, Becky’s Dad and I made her this adorable playhouse, which all the kids love to play in it.
Now that we had the kids taken car of it was time to focus on what I wanted out of the back yard. I wanted to add some plants and shrubs that would add privacy and look nice. I also wanted to make sure they were low maintenance and native to our environment here in North Carolina.
The last thing on my list was to get the grass in the backyard to look more like my front yard. Lush and green. Cub Cadet has focused on making innovative and high-performance products. They made it easy from day one and they can help all homeowners, large property owners and professionals tackle any challenges.
